FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)The applets in the Anibal's Essential Applets package have free support. However, Mandomartis has limited support capabilities so we recommend reading this FAQ and the applet manuals that may serve to resolve any question that you may have. GENERAL QUESTIONS ABOUT ANIBAL'S ESSENTIAL BEANSQuestion : Do these beans require any special licensing? Answer : No, by buying a bean you can use it on an unlimited number of projects. However, you may not redistribute the bean unless it is embedded in one of your projects. Question : Who is Anibal, anyway? Answer : Anibal Wainstein is the manager of Mandomartis Software Company and the head Java developer there. Take a look at Anibal's Violent Playground and Anibal's Essential Applet which are applet packages developed by him.
GENERAL APPLET PROBLEMSQuestion : My JPEG image doesn't work with my bean! I use PhotoShop versions 4.0 and 5.0. Answer : Please save the image in GIF format instead or open and save the JPEG image in another image processing program. PhotoShop 4.0 and 5.0 creates a special JPEG format that older web browsers cannot read. Question : Is your bean compatible with Visual Café? How do I add it to my palette? Answer : All these beans are compatible with Visual Café. Select "Add component to library" in the File menu and then right-click on the component palette to display the library. The bean should be there and you can select where you want to put it. Question : The properties I set for the beans component don't work. Answer : Make sure you set all the properties BEFORE calling the createEffect() method in the Java Bean. On some beans, calling the "set" methods after the createEffect() method will not work. |
